More Birthday fun and Surprises

This weekend my favorite people came to celebrate my birthday! And we surprised them with our big news! Love it!!

This week on 29 and pregnant!

Today was my 29th Birthday and it was relaxing and wonderful! My favorite Kendall came and spent the day with me and treated me to a pedicure, mexican for lunch and a little shopping, but before we left for our day I surprised her with the good news and caught it on video too!

Telling our Family

This was my Birthday weekend and both my parents and Josh's parents were in town. Before we went to dinner Josh and I had decided to break the big news to our parents using photo albums and Lil' Kidney Beans first photo. Their reactions are priceless! Telling people has been such a joy, and a weight off our shoulders, keeping a secret like this has been so hard!

We told Uncle Jason and Aunt Michelle at our family cookout the day before my Birthday and we also caught it on video!! We have really enjoyed telling everyone!

Today was our first ultrasound and it was the most amazing thing ever!! I was holding Josh's hand the entire time and tears of joy were streaming down my face as we saw our baby for the first time!! Josh told me that the moment the baby did a flip the reality that "this was really happening" finally set in and he couldn't have been happier! We are so excited but still have those moments of doubt and wondering if its even real. 




How far along? 8 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: 4 lbs
Maternity clothes? not yet...thinking about that Belly Band though
Stretch marks? not really, and not on my belly just my ever growing breasts
Sleep: its ok...getting up between once and three times to pee. and waking up is hard to do after not being able to fall back to sleep after getting up to pee
Best moment this week: mmm eating pizza
Have you told family and friends: Nyope! Just the lady at the Bridal Shop the day after we found out.
Miss Anything? surprisingly nothing really. 
Movement: nyope...too tiny. only a kidney bean!
Food cravings: strawberries, bread, cheese, and if i think of something i need to eat it or i am sad, but no tears.
Anything making you queasy or sick: well with morning sickness all day eating is the only thing that makes me feel better, and its temporary.
Have you started to show yet: just bloated all the time so but i don't think that is considered "showing"
Gender prediction: i'm thinking a boy...
Labor Signs: oh dear i hope not.
Belly Button in or out? IN
Wedding rings on or off? ON
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy most of the time but Josh might disagree.
Weekly Wisdom: working out would be nice but i'm just not up to it.
Looking forward to: having a bigger belly and feeling the kicks!
