How far along? 23 weeks and 2 days...going with that October 10th due date from now on.
Total weight gain/loss: well lets just say the doctor was not pleased with my weight gain.
Maternity clothes? wearing the crap out of those 3 pairs of draw string linen capris from old navy, bought some brown maternity shorts from thrift usa, and hoping to get some hand-me-downs from family and some friends in the near future.
Stretch marks? still none, knock on wood. lather up as close to daily as i can and drink lots of water. i have been told if my mother did not get them then i shouldn't either, lets up this holds true for me!
Sleep: about the same as the last update. dreams are still weird most nights and i still get up to pee at least once. have been getting my 7-9 or 10 hours as i should be.
Best moment this week: man, maybe i should try and do this more often. there have been a lot of great moments over the past few weeks. but i would have to say the best has been feeling Baby KICK lots and lots and two saturday's ago Josh finally felt a kick too.
Have you told family and friends: hahaha i'm sure there are still some stragglers out there who dont know.
Miss Anything? being able to lay on my back. alcohol from time to time. i'm sure there are more things but those really stick out the most.
Movement: yes! lots and lots and i feel Baby more and more everyday!
Food cravings: OREO's and sugar waffers, but once i have had them a few times i'm over it. no other cravings really.
Anything making you queasy or sick: thank the Lord, no.
Have you started to show yet: well that is an understatement.
Gender prediction:the previous update i said that maybe i would have a better prediction based on attitude but i really stil have no real prediction. the last ultrasound Josh thought he saw a little penis twice, but i dont know how much i believe that.
Labor Signs: i get tightness after i eat a lot but i doubt that has anything to do with labor.
Belly Button in or out? in but slowly becoming an outty. hehe.
Wedding rings on or off? on, but this summer heat will probably aid in the expansion of my digits leaving me ringless at some point. my hope is that they stay on the whole time.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy for the most part. i have my days but i know that those bad days have nothing to do with the pregnancy and everything to do with my situation. the pregnancy may not help when i am feeling low but when i feel a kick everything feels a little brighter.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.~Philippians 4:6
Looking forward to: josh feeling all of the kicks, every time! i also am looking forward to doing our baby registry together, having some baby showers, picking out names that we are certain on, and getting Baby's room together.

Whoops!
So, I just realized that I forgot to post the video of my Nana and Aunt opening their cards with the good news! The camera unfortunately ran out of room right before my Nana's reaction but its still a nice memory of when they found out about Great Grandchild number 4 and Great Nephew or Niece number 1!
New Due Date..and more
Our new doctor stated at our first visit with her and then again at the mid-point ultrasound that the baby is set to be due October 10th not October 12th. We obviously all agree that Baby Nowell will come whenever he or she wants, but October 10th is a good starting point.
We had our 20 week ultrasound on our 2nd Anniversary, and it was a wonderful way to start the day off. Not only celebrating our 2 years of marriage but, ringing in the start of our 3rd year, and seeing our little Bean for the 3rd time! Soon we will be a family of 3...well 5 if you count the furry children...it is all so exciting! After the ultrasound I was able to spend my day making Josh dinner and dessert for our evening together. I made homemade Arnold Palmer's for a light liquid appetizer, followed by Mexican inspired chicken stuffed peppers along with all of the fixin's for the main course, and a homemade Strawberry pie for dessert. We topped the night off with some Sparkling Cider in our Wedding flutes, and watched our wedding video! It was delightful!
This Wednesday I will be 22 weeks along! the ultrasound last Tuesday was yet again...amazing. This time getting to see so much more of Baby. Baby's legs are 6 inches long and the rest of the body is about the same...making Baby about a foot long. Crazy! Baby also has 10 fingers and 10 toes! The ultrasound was also able to show Baby's skeletal structure which was awesome but, I'm not going to lie, a little creepy. The heart beat is strong at 143 beats a minute, and already Baby likes to suck on his or her fingers. It was hard for the tech to get a good picture because every photo op, Babe had fingers in the mouth. Super cute. I keep wondering who this wee one is going to be more like...Josh or Me? I assume a good mixture of us both but who knows. I cannot believe we have to wait another almost 5 months to find out!
(pictures of the ultrasound to come)
This weekend was when I declared the baby's first official kicks...the "this is without a doubt the baby, and not gas of some form". Poor Josh, however, cannot feel any of the kicks, and it will probably be a while until he does.
